Shannan Gibb-Randall R.L.A.

Shannan Gibb-Randall is principal at InSite Design Studio, Inc. She completed her undergraduate work in Art History at the Residential College at the University of Michigan, and her Master of Landscape Architecture from the School of Natural Resources at the University of Michigan. Her background in both art history and ecology inform her work in sustainable landscape architecture. Since 1998 Shannan has been involved in all aspects of InSite Design’s ecologically sensitive and innovative landscape design and management. Notable projects in her portfolio include the City of Ann Arbor Municipal Center, the Great Lakes Garden at Matthaei Botanical Gardens, and the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center Courtyard. Additionally, she is a frequently sought after public speaker for sustainable stormwater and native planting design, and is a member of the Planning Commission for the City of Ann Arbor.

Lindsay Nelson R.L.A.

Lindsay Nelson recently joined the InSite Design Studio team. She completed her undergraduate work in environmental science at the University of Michigan, where she extensively studied topics relating to both the natural and built environments. Lindsay’s interest in ecological systems, urban planning, and longtime passion for art and design led her to pursue an education in landscape architecture at the School of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Michigan. During her time at InSite, Lindsay has been involved in all phases of a wide variety of projects and enjoys working at different scales – from large master planning to detailed site design. Lindsay is adept at efficiently communicating design through hand-drawn and computer-generated graphics. Additionally, Lindsay serves as a lecturer in the landscape architecture department at the University of Michigan.

Jenny Hebert M.L.A.

Jenny Hebert is the most recent addition to InSite Design Studio, Inc. Inspired by years of backcountry endeavors, Jenny pursued a career path promoting environmental stewardship. After receiving her BFA studying literature and environmental science at the University of Michigan, Jenny went on to receive her Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources. Her thesis and internship work focused primarily on public garden design, specifically as an avenue for reconnecting people with their regional landscapes. Using her skills in planting design, communication, and illustration, Jenny has been able to contribute to many of InSite's public and private design projects.
